Situated in the Bitterne C of E Primary School site Paint Pots Bitterne Preschool is located near the Bitterne shopping centre.
Paint Pots Bitterne was opened in April 2024. It is a single floor building that caters for children aged 2 years to 5 years. The Preschool offers a breakfast club Monday to Friday from 8am- 8:30am. We have added a personal Paint Pots touch to provide a more spacious and comfortable environment whilst incorporating a homely feel that we believe is important to the children’s wellbeing.
The garden provides children an extension of the indoors learning environment. It includes a large wooden pirate ship and a separated decked area to provide a range of activities. These encourage children to build on or learn new skills whilst engaging in all 7 areas of learning.
This location also includes a large forest area to the side of the Preschool. In this area children have opportunities to get back to nature, exploring a range of natural resources as well as having possibilities to relax in the wooden hut.

Manager's Message
Hello my name is Hannah.
I have joined Paint Pots Bitterne, having previously worked for Paint Pots at two Paint Pots other settings. I am very excited to be back within the Paint Pots Family.
I have many years of Early Years experience and hold a level 3 Early Years qualification, a Management qualification and others such as First Aid, Safeguarding and Level 3 Send.
I love to watch children grow and achieve new things. Each day is never the same but they are always full of ‘Love, Laughter and Learning’.
Outside of Pre-School, I am kept very busy with my 9-year-old son, we love to go to the seaside, holidays and socialise with friends and family.
Our team at Bitterne, are very kind with a caring heart. We are always available to offer support and advice.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you all and welcoming you to Paint Pots Bitterne.
