Paint Pots Preschool at St Joseph’s is situated on Bugle Street, in the centre of the city, north of Town Quay and in one of the most historic areas of the city. It caters for children aged 2 years to 5 years.
The Preschool is spacious with areas zoned to encourage children to learn and have fun whilst incorporating a homely feel. The children have opportunities to engage in various activities that include all 7 areas of learning. You will find children involved in enjoyable and purposeful activities. We focus on instilling confidence in our children and provide activities to help understand their own and others’ emotions.
This location has direct access to the outside area enabling children to choose where they would like to play and pursue their interests.

Manager's Message
Hello, my name is Emma- I started working for Paint Pots in January 2022 and since then I have completed a variety of qualifications including my level 3 in Early Years child care, My Safeguarding Lead training and I am first aid trained.
I have 5 children of my own and before working for Paint Pots I worked as a childminder so I have an established history of working with young children.
During my spare time I cherish the moments I have with my family. We love to be outdoors and I love to go camping and walking with them when it's warm enough.
I find helping children of all backgrounds to learn new skills to be the most rewarding part of my job and I look forward to continuing this alongside my team in the years ahead.
